May 22, 2019

The ZELLCHEMING-Expo, platform for the European pulp, paper and supplier industry, has already exceeded last year's exhibitor registrations a month prior to the event. The joint stands are also already fully booked. In addition, the event offers a particularly extensive lecture program in Frankfurt am Main from 25 - 27 June 2019.

Number of exhibitors already exceeded compared to 2018

More exhibitors from Germany and abroad have already registered for the exhibition in 2019 than last year. 42% are present as new providers on site. Among the companies presenting their know-how and expertise along the entire value chain of the pulp and paper industry this year are ABB Automation GmbH, Andritz AG, IBS Austria, Richter GmbH & Co. KG, T.CON GmbH & Co.KG, Valmet GmbH and Voith GmbH & Co. KGaA.

The "Road of Maintenance", taking place for the first time, is fully booked. Exhibitors include Ecolistec AG, KBR Poland Sp. Z.o.o., Kelvion Germany GmbH, Kumera Antriebstechnik GmbH, MAUEL Sicher Arbeiten, Richter GmbH & Co. KG, Santasalo Gears GmbH, simatec GmbH, VAKUO GmbH and Voith GmbH & Co. KGaA. The integrated showcase arena with live repairs, use cases and short presentations will give visitors a deeper insight into the maintenance industry.

The Newcomer Pavilion also met with great interest this year and is full. Newcomers to the industry and the event will be presenting their innovative solutions in this joint area.

Live Hacking Session shows protection mechanisms against IT attacks

At the interactive ZELLCHEMING-Forum, Benedikt Strobl, IT Security Analyst at NSIDE ATTACK LOGIC GmbH, will visualize in a live hack and show what happens when professional attacks are carried out on a company's IT systems and what tools and tricks companies can use to protect themselves against this. According to the motto "Know your enemy" this lecture creates a higher awareness and thus one of the best protection mechanisms: the user awareness.

"Hacker attacks on the industry are a great danger for companies and employees. In our lecture and live hacking we will demonstrate how hackers can penetrate production networks and manipulate machines, causing damage to products and production lines," summarizes Benedikt Strobl.

Young industry talents provide insights into research projects

The Science Flash, which took place successfully for the first time last year, will once again offer a platform for the young professionals of the industry. In short lectures, young scientists from various universities will provide innovative insights into their scientific work. The program includes lectures on cutting-edge research topics, such as the lecture by Daniel Klüh, Scientific Assistant at the Chair of Renewable Energies at the Technical University of Munich, entitled "Energy instead of landfill - recycling paths for waste sludge". The Mentoring Program as well as the "Treffpunkt Zukunft" joint stand will round off the program for young professionals.
