Getting to the Frankfurt exhibition grounds is quick and easy by car, train, plane, or public transport. There is a wide range of hotel rooms to choose from near the exhibition grounds, in the city, and in the surrounding area.
Arriving by train
You can travel to the exhibition quickly, comfortably, and affordably with Deutsche Bahn. Frankfurt’s main railway station is just a few minutes away from the exhibition grounds and offers a direct and fast connections by S-Bahn and subway.

Take the S-Bahn lines S3 (toward Bad Soden), S4 (toward Kronberg), S5 (toward Bad Homburg/Friedrichsdorf) or S6 (toward Friedberg/Groß Karben). After two stops you will reach the S-Bahn station “Messe”. The Torhaus entrance takes you to the exhibition grounds.
... continuing by subway
Take the subway line 4 toward Bockenheimer Warte. Travel one station to “Festhalle/Messe”. Once there, enter the exhibition grounds via the Ludwig-Erhard-Anlage entrance

From the airport, the S-Bahn lines S8 and S9 leave for the main station every 15 minutes (journey time approx. 10 minutes). From there, you can reach the exhibition center in less than 5 minutes with the U4 or the S3/S4/S5/S6.

It takes about 15–20 minutes by taxi from Frankfurt am Main Airport to the Ludwig-Erhard-Anlage entrance.

Arriving by car
Frankfurt am Main is located in the middle of a dense highway network and is one of Germany’s most important transport hubs. Direct feeder roads provide short, rapid connections between Messe Frankfurt, highways, the city, and the region. The exhibition grounds are well signposted from the various highway exits.
The direct route to Messe Frankfurt is via the A5 Westkreuz Frankfurt.
Follow the signs to “Messe” and take the “Westkreuz Frankfurt” exit. The signs will guide you to the exhibition grounds.

Thinking of getting to the exhibition grounds by public transport?
It could hardly be easier – Frankfurt’s public transport network offers excellent connections from the city’s airport and main train station.
From the main station straight to the exhibition grounds in around 5 min:
S-Bahn lines: S3 (Bad Soden), S4 (Kronberg), S5 (Bad Homburg/Friedrichsdorf) and S6 (Friedberg/Groß Karben) to the “Messe” station, then to the Torhaus entrance.
Subway line: U4 to the station “Festhalle/Messe”, follow the signs to the Ludwig-Erhard-Anlage entrance to the exhibition grounds.
