Arrival and stay – finding your way to us

Getting to the Frankfurt exhibition grounds is quick and easy by car, train, plane, or public transport. Outside of the event, you benefit from nearby accommodation in all price ranges as well as a wide selection of restaurants.

Arriving by train

You can travel to the exhibition quickly, comfortably, and affordably with Deutsche Bahn. Frankfurt’s main railway station is just a few minutes away from the exhibition grounds and offers a direct and fast connections by S-Bahn and subway.

... continuing by S-Bahn
Take the S-Bahn lines S3 (toward Bad Soden), S4 (toward Kronberg), S5 (toward Bad Homburg/Friedrichsdorf) or S6 (toward Friedberg/Groß Karben). After two stops you will reach the S-Bahn station “Messe”. The "Torhaus" entrance takes you to the exhibition grounds.

... continuing by subway
Take the subway line U4 (toward Bockenheimer Warte). Travel one station to “Festhalle/Messe”. Once there, enter the exhibition grounds via the "Ludwig-Erhard-Anlage" entrance

From the airport, the S-Bahn lines S8 and S9 leave for the main station every 15 minutes (journey time approx. 10 minutes). From there, you can reach the exhibition center in less than 5 minutes with the U4 or the S3/S4/S5/S6.

It takes about 15–20 minutes by taxi from Frankfurt am Main Airport to the "Ludwig-Erhard-Anlage" entrance.

Thinking of getting to the exhibition grounds by public transport?
It could hardly be easier – Frankfurt’s public transport network offers excellent connections from the city’s airport and main train station. Use your visitor ticket as a public transport ticket for the Rhein-Main-Verkehrsverbund (RMV) within the RMV tariff area.

From the main station straight to the exhibition grounds in around 5 min:
S-Bahn lines: S3 (toward Bad Soden), S4 (toward Kronberg), S5 (toward Bad Homburg/Friedrichsdorf) and S6 (toward Friedberg/Groß Karben) to the “Messe” station, then to the "Torhaus" entrance.
Subway line: U4 to the station “Festhalle/Messe”, follow the signs to the "Ludwig-Erhard-Anlage" entrance to the exhibition grounds.

Frankfurt am Main is located in the middle of a dense highway network and is one of Germany’s most important transport hubs. Direct feeder roads provide short, rapid connections between Messe Frankfurt, highways, the city, and the region. The exhibition grounds are well signposted from the various highway exits.

The direct route to Messe Frankfurt is via the A5 "Westkreuz Frankfurt".
Follow the signs to “Messe” and take the “Westkreuz Frankfurt” exit. The signs will guide you to the exhibition grounds.

The cutting-edge traffic and parking guidance system ensures a stress-free journey and guides you directly to the parking areas. The parking fee is €18 per day.
The closest parking lost is P4. Access is via the North Gate. Please follow the signs from there.

From 1 January 2012, only vehicles in emissions group 4 with a green environmental sticker will be allowed to enter the Frankfurt low emission zone. Find out more on (only in German).

Parking spaces for mobility-impaired visitors are available all over the exhibition grounds. People with a disabled parking pass or an “aG” type disability pass for severely impaired mobility are requested not to go to the Rebstock or P4 multi-storey car park but rather to the North Gate (Tor Nord), where our traffic attendants will provide them with a suitable parking space on the exhibition grounds.
Our information hotline can provide details about alternative parking options for visitors with restricted mobility who do not have an “aG” disability pass for severely impaired mobility.

We welcome low-emission electric vehicles. On request, we are happy to reserve a parking space with a charging socket for you. As we are still developing the network and there is only a limited number of charging stations available, we advise you to make your reservation early:
